And for no particular reason…Photography Edition

Sometimes I like to make themes for some of my rounds. Most of the time, they have nothing to do with anything going on in the world at the time. They’re just questions that make for good theme-trivia. So please enjoy the second edition of And For no Particular Reason….Photography edition.

  1. (Famous Figures) What photographer is credited with taking some of the most famous (and some of the most revealing) photographs of Demi Moore, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and Miley Cyrus?
  2. (US Presidents) The famous photo of President Harry S. Truman holding up a newspaper with the headline that mistakenly read “Dewey Defeats Truman” was from what newspaper?
  3. (Music) Written for their 8th studio album in 1981, “The Camera Eye” was the last song by this band to be longer than 10 minutes.
  4. (US History) Photographer Matthew Brady was noted for his depiction of what war?
  5. (Movies) The title of the Stephen King short story that was the basis for the film The Shawshank Redemption referred to a poster of what actress?
